Baby will spend much of its time in the crib. This first "home" should be a cheerful and secure environment. Give your crib and bedding a safety inspection with the helpful tips provided. A changing table in your nursery provides a safe, sturdy place to change and dress your baby. You can choose many different types of changing tables, including those that have a built-in dresser.  When selecting changing tables, look for one that has straps that will help prevent baby from falling. If your changing table does not come with straps, purchase a strap separately and install it on the changing table. Always use straps on changing tables to restrain baby when the changing table is in use.
Be sure that any baby products you will need, such as powder or wipes, are easily accessible. Never turn your back on baby when reaching for baby products and most importantly, never leave baby unattended on changing tables even for the shortest moment. | 
Car seats should be used in the back seat if it can be properly secured. The back seat is the safest place to ride. Infants must ride rear-facing or in a car bed. Never use car seats in a seating location with an airbag! Find 
Choose a stroller or carriage that has a base wide enough to prevent tipping, even when your baby leans over the side. Use the locking device to prevent accidental folding and apply the brakes to limit rotation of the wheels.
